Once Upon a Map... is an web-based project that explores the narrative potential of maps and their ability to create discursive zones rather than mere representations. I will take you on an experiential journey in order to demonstrate how these maps describe both inside and outside subject positions, where the superimposition of these restore the imaginary and make possible a reconstruction of reality.
The following pages are a series of thematic vignettes designed to create personal, associative, aesthetic encounters with maps that never quite answer the question “Where am I?” That is up to you to decide.
